These terms and conditions are observed, unless otherwise specifically agreed, in all SKY Cargo LV OÜ transport assignments, except for such transports that are not covered by the Road Transport Contracts Act or for which it has otherwise been agreed otherwise in writing or where there are separate regulations.
2. Contract of Carriage and Payment
The contract becomes valid when the customer orders and pays for transport SKY Cargo LV OÜ. SKY Cargo LV OÜ uses the services of Maksekeskus AS as its payment collection service. You can pay with the following payment methods: Nordea, Osuuspankki, Sampo, Tapiola, Aktia, Säästöpankki, Handelsbanken, S-Bank and the Bank of Åland. You can also pay by card. SKY Cargo LV OÜ is the chief processor of personal data, the company forwards the personal data necessary for making payments to the authorized processor Maksekeskus AS.
3. Ordering transportation
SKY Cargo LV OÜ provides deliveries to Finland. When ordering a transport, the customer must provide information about the shipment. The subscriber is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided in connection with the order.
4. Leaving the goods for carriage and loading
SKY Cargo LV OÜ will pick up the goods after receiving confirmation from the seller indicated by the customer that the order is ready to be picked up.
5. Possible tax liability and liability for excisable products.
If the products delivered to the customer are subject to excise duty or other taxation in the customer’s home country, the customer is responsible for all the above-mentioned taxes or other related obligations.
6. Time and place of delivery
SKY Cargo LV OÜ delivers shipments to the delivery address or the nearest subcontractor’s pick – up point mainly within 2-5 working days of picking up the order. Delivery takes place to the given delivery address what can be reached by truck or van. Pickup will take place upon receipt of notification that the products are ready to be picked up and after paying our freight costs. The products will be delivered on weekdays between 8 am and 4 pm. Delivery outside this time must be agreed separately. Shipping costs are calculated based on the total weight of the order and the postal code. Matkahuolto and Posti are our partners in providing the service.
7. Returns and products broken during transport
Since SKY Cargo LV OÜ operates only as a forwarding agent, you will need to agree on the possible return of goods with the merchant with whom you made an order. The customer must make a complaint by e-mail and send photos of the broken products.
8. Placing a transport order
You can place a transport order with us via customer service by e-mail or directly via the transport order link you received when ordering from the online store where you have selected Sky Cargo OY as the transport service provider. You can place an order and also pay directly from our website via the order form. Most commonly, a shipping order is placed through a ready-made shipping order link sent by our system. If you place a shipping order via email, we need the following information:
Company and address from which the order is picked up
Total weight of the consignment
The order number provided by the company you made
9. Placing a transport order on our website.
1. Fill in the order form on our website
2. Read and accept the contract of carriage
3. Press the “Pay here” button and pay for the shipment via online banking or by card.
10. Shipping Order Cancellation
The transport order can be canceled until the order is picked up. The transport order must be canceled by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org The money will be returned to the account specified by the customer within 5 days. Once the order has been picked up and the transport order can no longer be canceled during transport.
